[expecting....]

I got a small break from fall families, and spent the evening with these two adorable sweethearts that are near and dear. I am so blessed to have this profession, because it really is just like hanging out and I haven't photograph these old friends for ages... since their wedding! I'm so pleased to show you these, I just couldn't wait to post them.  Thank you for an amazing shoot. I hope you like your sneak previews.

There is just nothing like the expectations of a first child, its like Christmas a hundred times overs. David was so sweet and attentive and so concerned about Maxine's comfortability, always making sure she is helped down and up, and running to get clothes and water... just so darn CUTE!! They are going to be the most amazing parents in the world, I SOOOOOO  jealous of baby, he/she is so very very lucky to have them for parents.

I had to get my mind out of 'family' mode and dig into the old memory bank for some maternity poses! Oy! After the kids, your mind is like a sieve! LOL!

Maxine is soooo tiny, she's only a few weeks away from delivery, I had to tell her to push it out! hehehehe.... toooooo cute!

David showed me sneak peeks of the baby's nursery that they artistically painted murals themselves, I can't wait for their newborn session!

Maxine, you're truly radiant, and thank you for allowing me the opportunity to capture this precious time in your life. I absolutely cannot wait to meet your baby!

Sigh... makes you want to have another one huh? Did I forget the 'almost'??  LOL!

[family fun]

I am so impressed with my clients this year and how they're totally pulling together awesome wardrobe combinations! I am so blown away, and getting great ideas for my own family photo session coming up in TWO days (I'm just about ready to call and postpone it, I feel SO unprepared!) I don't how you all do it, show up looking so darn cute! I know from experience it is no easy feat, and I dread my own sessions each year. I love this casual approach with the boys in shorts and girls in summer dresses I just might have to steal it. I hope you like your sneak peeks!

I love the look of this shot, it looks like we could be on the beach somewhere on the east coast... who knows its just Lincoln and rattlesnakes lurking around? I'm so not a big fan of snakes!

Sigh... again I *heart* California sunsets.

Little boys.. darling!

I think my fall sessions are early this year, everyone is getting it all out of the way super early. And since when do we have 101 temps in September? weird right? But its been nice not to have sweaters and stuff. How cute is this dress?

 And I'm totally diggin this location, going to do my own family shoot here.

[A wonderful family at a great new location!]

First, thank you to Mt. Vernon Winery in Auburn for being so gracious to allow us to photograph this gorgeous family on their amazing property. Finding new locations is hard to do, so it was really nice to get to shoot at a new place!!

This family is just so sweet, I can't even begin to say enough about them! Don't they look amazing  this year?

I love getting to hang out with these adorable kids, each year they keep growing taller and taller, already at 14 Sabrina is towering over me! And with each passing shoot they become more and more comfortable and it is so fun to see them play around and come up with their own poses, i LOVE these!



And then they rock out these poses like professional models!!!

okay I'm going to post a couple more of this 14 year old, cause REALLY, what happened to the gawky phase??? Seriously?? This is just not fair! I'd be so embarrassed to pull out my pics at that age... no really quick burn them puleeasse! Total BLACKMAIL material! I don't know what kids are eating or doing these days, but the young teens I've encountered look AMAZING!

Lean forward! Hahaha... I'm sorry I gotta laugh because I  must've said that 20 times to get this shot!

[Look who is almost one.... and almost walking]

Here's a hint.... OMG. Soooo cute! 

Okay.. flash forward... oh how fast they grow, it seems forever when you're in the middle of it, but when you look at these images can you believe its only been 11 months? Here she is at her almost 1st birthday, almost walking, almost talking and still so stinkin CUTE! Look at those thunder thighs, I just want to eat em up!

I wanted to re-use the lanterns that were used to decorate her baby shower... so we took them out in the field and hung them from the big oak trees. And this is what we got... love them, I wish I had some like these when my kids were little.

Love the books Fara, very sweet. After two boys, a little baby girl is even sweeter, so thrilled to be able to capture these images for you and I can't wait to see her grow tall and beautiful just like her mamma.
