Avila at Avila Beach

I just got back from a roadtrip to visit friends in SoCA. It was a blast. Nothing like a 10 hour road-trip where the kids don't sleep a wink to bond with the kiddos! LOL!

But it gave me an opportunity to finally take Avila to Avila Beach, where my husband took me on our first date... hence the name Avila!



If you haven't been, you must go, its the CUTEST little beach town, so quaint and picturesque. Its exactly 5 hours from Lincoln, just off HWY 101. You should also stop at Avila Sycamore Springs to soak in the mineral water, it made our skin and hair feel so silky smooth. I have a zillion pics to share, but I just wanted to post some of these, Avila was tickled pink that she had her OWN beach! LOL!

Liz & Ben... Happily Ever After....

A gorgeous summery day dawned on Liz and Ben's wedding, everything was planned to perfection, Liz's attention to details were amazing. What an amazing event... here finally are your previews! So many I couldn't decide...

Fireworks....

Just wanted to post these pics of the fireworks from 4th July, I know its a bit belated but they were so awesome. Our little town does give a good show, and we could tell the word is out, since there were TONS more people here this year than last year!! But we were lucky with parking even though we showed up 10 minutes before showtime, and we weren't dissappointed, it was a fabulous show. We got a clear front row view so much so that the kids were afraid the fireworks were going to land on them!

The grande finale lit up the entire sky and was followed by a lot of appreciative hooting and hollering! Don't tell anyone else, but you should come watch the show next year! LOL!!

Simply Gorgeous....

What can I say? This family of three is just adorable...mom with perfect skin and brother with his violin! LOVE the violin... wish I had musical talent, but I have zilch, can't sing or play and instrument to save my life!! Again, thank you for your patience and I really hope you LOVE your portraits.

Taking a breather... from the processing machine that I've been. I am taking a four day mini-vacation with my gals and I intend not to touch the computer... since where I am going doesn't have one, and I'm not bringing one.. I think I can actually do that! LOL!

When I get back I still have a TON more shoots to share and I am SUPER excited to share a sneak peeks from a recent WEDDING... of these two gorgeous people.

How much fun do you think we had on this photoshoot?? TONS! This little guy was so super sweet... and I was told his secret smile code was "chocolate mini-wheats"... worked like a charm. Doesn't his smile make your heart just melt?


Proof we had a blast at this shoot! Hehehe... these are my all-time favorite!



Thank you High-Hand nursery in Loomis for creating the most perfect place on earth for photographs. I start jumping for joy when I hear I get to shoot there!! I'm really excited to be shooting a wedding there later this year!! YAY!
