I had a blast shooting Lisa and her two super cute boys! We almost postpone the shoot due to the rain, it rained hard all morning, and broke just in time for our shoot, and then rained again at the end. What a blessing...

Earth Day 2009

An awareness exercise we might all want to participate in.

At 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, the World Wildlife Fund is inviting

the world to turn off the lights for one hour - Earth Hour - to

illustrate the importance of addressing climate change.

During Earth Hour 2008, more than 50 million people in 400 cities on all

seven continents turned off their lights. This year's event promises to

be even more successful, with millions of individuals in more than 240

cities already signed on to participate. The World Wildlife Fund is

hoping to have more than 1 billion people switch off the lights during

We need to do our part to help the environment for our children and our grand-children.

Introducing the BFF Photoshoot...

These two cuties inspired the BFF photoshoot... they're INSEPERABLE! Two peas in a pod! And so incredibly cute, I had to capture it forever! This is my daughter and her friend Kassidy, they're in the same 4th grade, and you'd think that would be enough of each other but every day they're bugging us about when they can get together for a sleepover or a playdate... they're 9-1/2, and sweet as can be.

These were taken at one of my favorite locations which is so perfect right now after the rain...






I love that they hold hands when they walk, and that they still play imaginary games, and that they hug all time.


I especially love how they pretend to be horses and gallop through the meadow... priceless!

My little baby girl turns FIVE!

This is us back when she was itty bitty... one year old. Omigosh she was the teeniest little button. And I was really addicted to kissing her!



Flash forward... this is us... last year... she had just turned four! Some of my all time favorite photographs of us taken by my dear friend and super talented photographer Amanda Elkins.



I can't even believe that its been five years since we welcomed our second bundle of joy! It has flown by so fast, I wish I could slow things down. FIVE is huge, she has been looking forward to this because now she will finally be able to go to school with her big sister!


What a mini-me she is from her roller coaster personality to her miniature stature. She is a little firecracker, with the smile of an angel. She totally wraps me around her little finger, and I can't even begin to tell you how much fun we have together.

So here she is... my big FIVE year old.
