An awareness exercise we might all want to participate in.
At 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, the World Wildlife Fund is invitingthe world to turn off the lights for one hour - Earth Hour - toillustrate the importance of addressing climate change.
During Earth Hour 2008, more than 50 million people in 400 cities on allseven continents turned off their lights. This year's event promises tobe even more successful, with millions of individuals in more than 240cities already signed on to participate. The World Wildlife Fund ishoping to have more than 1 billion people switch off the lights duringthis year's Earth Hour. For more information or to sign up for the event, visit www.earthhour.org where you'll find fun tips for what you and your family and friends can do when the lights goout.
We need to do our part to help the environment for our children and our grand-children.
Because aren't they worth it?
