[Comfort]

Do you remember what your comfort thing was when you were little? I have no recollection of anything in particular myself. When I try to remember my early childhood memories, I seem to bring to mind images... but I realized that they aren't real memories of what happened, but the memory of a photograph viewed over and over. I wish I could share some of them with you, my mum was a pretty good photographer too, next time I go back, I'll have to steal some from the old albums!

Here are some really sweet images of a very special blankie and its darling owner...
Welcome... baby sister!

I love sunset lighting... it makes everything look so nostalgic... maybe that's why I'm falling into memory lane!

Thanks guys for being so patient, I hope you like your previews, and I hope they will become treasured memories for you and your kids! Hugs!

You may recognize these guys, two of them were on the cover of last month's Sacramento Parent's Magazine! As always, it was so much fun to hang out and photograph your family.

[its family time]

I am in love with this picture! This sums up a very happy family session!

What can I say about this wonderful family, but thank you for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family. Here are some of my favs but there are just tons more I could have posted forever! We sure had fun chasing the kids around town...

And sweet little missy here sure started out with a bang this year! My oh my I couldn't click fast enough! She did NOT want to share the lens with anyone... lol!

Daddy's little girl...

Oh boy! He is a handsome dude, where oh where can I pick one up????

Sigh... a split second of sweet calmness. :-D
But man was it worth it, she totally charmed me! Such a change from the first time I photographed her I think 90% were blurry pics of her back! LOL!

Awww... and I had to add one of them together... and I had to make sure I posted one in B&W, yes... I still do B&Ws... LOL.

Sigh.. that was a FUN shoot to process. Thanks you guys for these amazing shots. Hugs to you!

November Issue of Sacramento Parents!

Meet our toddler issue cover model Brynna. Adorable isn't she? Those big blue eyes and cheeks that make you want to squeeze them! Pick up your issue today and check out little Brynna four pics appearing throughout! And some helpful tips for dealing with toddlers and awesome ideas for gifts...

So sweet. She rocked her shoot modeling clothing courtesy of Silverspoon Children's Boutique.

I love these... and I love the outfit too!

I had such a blast picking out the duds for this photoshoot, there were so much to choose from, and the accessories were awesome! Check out these goodies:

I have to say that for hair clips Silverspoons by far has the best selection in town, one of the designers lives right here in Lincoln! So if you're looking to dress up your little girl's locks this festive season, head right there, they have the best selection and great prices.

I also want to mention that they've MOVED! They are now located at 8300 Sierra College Blvd. Suite A, Roseville CA 95661. You can't miss the sign below!

Halloween 09... trick or treat?

The last couple of years, the girls have been matching, and this year they decided on different costumes, but somehow they turned out to be quite coordinated. They loved their costumes. Avila is Taylor Swift (from the Love Story music video clip), we were watching it one day and we realized we already had this costume from an after-halloween sale years ago, that Alannah had and it worked perfectly. She was so excited!

Alannah's Cleopatra costume we got at Walmart for $12.99, I added the cape and the an extra layering of skirt to help keep her warm. It turned out to be quite warm this evening. But here they are in all their Halloween splendour!

Gosh, they just keep getting bigger and bigger! I don't want them to ever stop wanting to dress up. They're just so much fun! Can't wait till next year...

Look who's here!?!?!

While I was away... little Miss Makayla arrived and she is absolutely PERFECT! I'm so excited, and I couldn't wait to share these first sneak previews!

Sweet little thing only 7 days old... they just don't stay this tiny for very long. What a blessing sent from Heaven. Congratulations Fara, you deserve all the joy a girl can bring.

More of Makayla to come I promise.. (I could post her pics all day long!) but I have a ton to catch up from my week away and lots more fall family portraits to share! So come back soon.
